Keller was carted off in the 2nd quarter against the Texans on Saturday night ... no word as to how severe but it doesn't look good. https://twitter.com/ByTimReynolds/status/368905281108856832/photo/1
Sorry to hear this. Hate the Fins but I'd rather beat them square up and Keller was a decent guy when he was on the Jets.
the lower leg would be near your ankle; the leg is the part of the body from the foot to the knee. the thigh is the part of the body from the knee to the hip... saying the knee went in an opposite direction is false; it's a joint formed from the articulation of the leg and thigh bones... get your facts straight, Reynolds you HACK!!!!
his season will be over, so he'll be spared the indignity of ever playing a regular season game for the fish. Hopefully he rehabs and we can bring him back next year
Keller also took a 1 year prove it deal so he could have gotten a bigger contract next offseason. Tough break for him, but he's always sort of been injury prone, so it isn't surprising.
I was upset he left, liked the guy... kinda felt betrayed when he signed w/ Miama... I hate injuries, never wish them on any team but I really don't give a fook right now... Heal up bruh...laterz..
Poor guy couldnt get any solid stats because of NY Jets QB play & then takes a 1yr gamble to prove his worth for a possibly big payday. RW: Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo reports Dustin Keller (knee) is "most likely done for the year." The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero heard through a team source that Keller's knee injury is "not good," so it's shaping up as another lost season for the tight end. Keller's knee got bent back awkwardly after Texans rookie S D.J. Swearinger unloaded on him in Saturday night's preseason game. He'd been developing solid chemsitry with Ryan Tannehill, and had the looks of a possible value pick in fantasy. Some combination of Charles Clay, Dion Sims, and Michael Egnew will try and replace Keller at tight end. Brandon Gibson may be the main beneficiary. Source: Mike Garafolo on Twitter Aug 18 - 10:04 AM
he's toast. missed 1/2 of last season. choose to sign a 1 yr deal w/mia and try to get a multi yr deal after the season. now he's out for the season and will not be getting any multi yr deal. Sucks for Dustin. Sucks for the phins. But as a Jets fans I'm glad we didn't resign Dustin, I think he's overrated and too easily injured.
