It would have to be that Baltimore game in '04..

That might have been the most poorly coached game in the history of the NFL.

The 1st 1 1/2 quarters of that game was coached well actually.. then 1 play just turned momentum. I'm not going to defend that play, that's for sure, but to call it the dumbest ever..... that's hard to stand by.

Wow. look who started this topic. I'm so surprised. I can sure tell you who is one of the worst fans in Jets history. He goes by the handle GlennFoley.

I don't blame that all on coaching, although it had something to do with it..... Remember, we had Quincy Stinking Carter playing QB there.

Also, remember, Bill Parcells called a Leon Johnson OPTION PASS (sound familiar) that also went for a pick in a MUST HAVE game against the Lions to make the playoffs his first year. It was a win and you're in game, and because of his hatred for Neil O'Donnell he called the option pass, and lost the game.... but of course, he's Bill Parcells, so that couldn't have been dumb.

He also brought Ray Lucas in for a play who was promptly picked if I remember right too.

What Parcells did for this franchise speaks for itself. Herm took this team and ran it into the soil.

I enjoyed the game when we had Lamont Jordan try and throw for a TD pass and they(forgot the "they") ran it in for a TD. Talk about a momentum swing, that game was reenacting the life of a person with Bipolar disease.

Pretty sure there was a penalty on the run back and they didn't score for a few more plays...

How about kneeling down instead of running closer to the goal posts?

Come on guys...think positive. We're 5-5 in a year that we were supposed to be 2-8 at this point. Some good young players and our next 6 games are against teams currently under .500, we'll have an exciting December win or lose and a much brighter future..Forget Herm Edwards, forget the option pass, new team new era. Sunday night we'll all be talking about a big Jets win...think positive....

ahhh yes I remember that one well.... up by 10 points and if my memory serves me well a late hit and a 4th and 10 gave the Browns 1st downs on 1 drives with under 5 minutes to go.
