Found this interesting 7 round mock - http://www.drafttek.com/2013-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round7.asp

Being a Rutgers fan I'm thrilled we would pick up Jamison and shocked he would last to the 7th round. I also see some names that others here have mentioned

    Here's our picks

1 - Geno Smith QB West VA
2 - Sam Montgomery OLB LSU
    3 - Jordan Reed - TE Florida
4 - Brandon Jenkins OLB Florida St
5 - Vinston Painter OG Virginia
6 - Bradley McDougald FS Kansas
    7 - Jawan Jamison - RB Rutgers

I don't like the Jordan Reed pick in the 3rd when Travis Kelce was still on the board (went later in the 3rd to Miami).

we have to address the OLine earlier. I want either:

    Warmack in the first

    or

    Watson in the second.

Id much rather an offensive weapon if we take a chance on Geno in the 2nd. Gio Bernard, Quinton Patton, Hopkins, Franklin, Woods ect would be much more crucial in the development of a young QB.

Honestly, at this point, I would be happy with Geno. Fact of the matter is, we need a QB and he is the best in the class (even if its a weak class).

You can make a really good argument for QB, WR, OG, TE in the first 4 rounds.

I left RB out of that quartet because that's the one piece you want to layer in after the QB is on the field given how short careers are. No point in taking tread off the tires in a year when the Jets are rebuilding.

If the Jets see themselves as making an attempt at the year the calculus is different since RB is a very high impact position in a WCO.

I hate everything aboput this mock, hope we don't get any of those guys unless it's a round later than projected.

That'd officially be that worst draft ever.
