    LIVE : NFL Draft

I wonder what kind of coverage we're going to get next season. Fairly pissed off still that the 'red button' game is gone. And what with 'net feeds taking a hammering, I think alot of frustration is going to be had.

edit: I know this isn't exactly Jets related, but think it might get lost in the draft forum, but feel free to move if needs be. Jets forum is moving sloooowly these days :)

Hey dude, just checked ESPN listings. They have the draft starting at 2am.

Drag you have to work the day of the wedding. I thought the whole country had the day off? Even if we didn't have the day off I'm a PhD student so my schedule is pretty liberal...in short screw the wedding and work...I'm watching the draft!

As for the TV schedule this year weeks 1, 4, 5, 6, 10 and 11 will be on TV for sure. The rest of the time we'll be at the mercy of the Sky schedule.

Haven't checked the time difference on how it effects Australian viewing yet.

What time US (and timezone) is it on?

So what's the feeling of the board's Uk-based Jets fans on who the Jets will select in the 1st round?

I'm on the Brooks Reed bandwagon, though he is obviously just one of several potential options.

I have a feeling that Wilkerson will drop past the Saints and to us. I think I'm in a minority of one.

Check the Draft board for more knowledgable posts than mine...

I can't keep up with the draft board...those guys know their shit. I know of and can comment on USC players and the mainstream, 1st/2nd round prospects that everyone knows about, but I don't watch enough college football to be able to speak with much authority on the vast majority of college players.

9.30am ACST (10.00am AEST) Friday for Round 1 here in Australia.

I'll be at work but will try and watch it.

Round 2 will be 7.30am ACST (8.00am AEST) Saturday for Round 2 and 3 which I'll watch live.

Round 3 will be 3.30am ACST (4.00am AEST) Sunday for Rounds 4 through 7 which I might miss the beginning of lol.

DREAM SCENARIO:trade up for Aldon Smith or Cameron Jordan

WOULD BE HAPPY WITH:Akeem Ayers,Justin Houston.....Wilkerson,Kerrigan,Quinn, or Cam Heyward dropping to us

ALSO WOULD BE HAPPY BUT CAN@T BELIEVE I STAYED UP ALL NIGHT FOR THIS:we trade out of Rd 1 for more picks

PLEASE GOD NO:Brooks Reed or Phil Taylor

Gun to my head I'd love Akeem Ayers at 30....sleeper pick is Dennarius Moore in Rd 3 or 4

Does anyone know roughly what time (UK time) the Jets pick will be announced (assuming we don't move up or down)?

Contemplating staying up and watching it, but then again I might get up early if pick 30 is going to be at a more acceptable time!

    Yeah, I'm guessing between 4am and 4.30am.

Coverage finishes on ESPN at 4.30am. I'm not quite sure how that works with 32 teams picking with a start time of 1am but anyways...

I am going to watch it probably until around 2am and see how I feel from there - trouble is its very addictive as you end up thinking - OK just one more pick, and then another and so on and an hour has gone.

I am not a fan of all the changes - such as how much time there is between picks now.

Me neither, I'd rather it stayed over two days as it used to be but Prime Time TV in the USA rules with its mega bucks.
