    whats the word on him? I think we need him back. with ellis a FA too we need some depth on the dline and i really like what he showed last year when he got snaps

    One or the other of those guys. The line would get pretty thin otherwise.

    i'd take Douz back and let Ellis walk..

    Douz can effectively back up either DE spot, can contribute and get snaps in a rotation, and even play NT in subpackages.
    he'd provide more value.

    also TJ Barnes looked promising at the nose, so we won't be left thin there (no pun)..

    I am high on Douzable and Barnes-- I don't think we'd really notice too much if Ellis moved on, unless we have more than a couple of injuries to our D-line.

    douz is a great back-up, hope they re-sign him. he could probably start on some other teams.

    Love Douzable he should be resigned, I'd also like to see Bowles bring a player or two that knows his system and would be quality depth. Whose out there?

    Me too. I have not been high on Ellis, but Douzable has an impact when he gets in there. The Jets do not need both, so I'd rather they kept Douze.
