I have read a couple of the blogs today that Sanchez went 1 for 6 with a bunch of overthrows, etc. I also note that Revis was kept out of practice today, so even though Sanchez was playing with and against the 1's, the 'Bad Man' was not around to ruin his day. I don't have any axe to grind with Clemens or Sanchez. But I do believe that all this "Sanchez has got to start" stuff is way premature. He has yet to play a down in anger against an NFL defense that doesn't see any red on his chest, and is "going for it". We need to have some patience if Sanchez is going to blossom. Just remember -- he's not a four-color football trading card -- either out of focus or in focus. I'm looking forward to some real action, not practice. Means nothing.
A rookie QB struggling should not be a surprise, and quite honestly, should be expected. A fourth year pro in the same offense for those same four years should not be struggling as much as Clemens has been.
I'm a neutral fan. ill beleive it when i see it is my attitude. Mark, Bart, Rex is so smart! i'll beleive it when i see it! We clearly need receivers, unless somebody on our roster steps up we are gonna be a one dimensional team. we dont even have LEON inked in yet. if he chooses to hold out were in big trouble. if i was him i would definitely hold out. all it takes is one injury. he is a father now, he's good enough to be set for life. our front office needs to step up.
When I read your posts... it's like a casual football fan paid a D-grade lit major to re-write his posts.
I agree, it is hard to not be in camp when you are in camp. Either that or he doesn't really get the concept of holding out?
