Did releasing Bell mean Gase is still in charge?

    This is so important and so disturbing to ponder it needs its own thread for now.

    Someone please tell me that JD made this decision with no input from Gase?

    Why is Adam Gase still coach of this team?What the fuck is going on....First Robby,Then Adams,Now Bell?this is disturbing.And you just know Bell is gonna run for over 100 yds his first game with new team.I hope he runs for over 200.

    Douglas released Bell because it was a shitty signing that has done NOTHING for us. Not to mention I just read this as well:

    Doubt it. Gase is gone sooner or later. Joe D is here to stay at least another year.

    Gase was always going to finish out the season once they didn't fire him after the Denver game. The only other point they could conceviably fire him is at the bye. Of course the Jets being the Jets they probably fire him with three weeks to go in the season and win two to bump us out of the #1 pick.

    I really want to believe this is purely a business decision, but it comes across as management doubling down on the Gase fiasco.

    Joe Douglas deserves to be here another 3 years at least. Why is everyone down on him? He literally was handed the keys with a mess of a roster. Gase needs to be gone by the end of the year. If he isn't, I will not root for this team as long he is HC.

    Cause he got no balls to fire gase! For one. I am all for giving him time, but his recent moves just not making me confident. Unless he is actually tanking and wants to go 0-16.
