Actually he hurt his knee in last nights practice, but there have been rumors it may be more serious than originally thought. We will see....
yeah, the rumor is Out for Season. how much does that suck? the guy works hard in the Offseason, sheds 30 pounds, comes back in top shape ready to play (after training in the upper altitudes of Utah)... and then injures himself for the year in Training Camp. as much is it will blow -- if this is true -- for the team, especially with Pope's departure, it blows tenfold for Pouha. cheers
This is the only news that I saw......So just please Kill yourself...try not to become a beat writter if you cant back up the "news" with facts...This is what a DARKSIDER does, we are all fired up for the season and you guys just say shit to get people pissed off. Again if you did not read it earlier...KILL YOURSELF KILL YOURSELF AGAIN (haha)
what was all that killing yourself business? I am pretty sure Pouha season is over...but if it is we can't cut him because he would officially be on IR right now......however they could activate him then cut him....
He is only on IR if they placed him on IR. And if they placed him on IR, there would be news about it. And if they placed him on IR they could not activate him and then cut him. So he must not be on IR and hopefully isn't injured badly.
Tensions a little high? Don't know where this Kill Yourself crap is comin' from, but have a garbage plate and relax. Lighten' up Francis.
You know he did try to come back a little later in the same practice he got injured in right? I highly doubt the injury is anything serious. If anything it's a strained MCL or ACl which keeps him out of action until the third pre-season game AT MOST. Most beat writers aren't thinking anything of it either.
I thought that a player who is deemed unable to play for the rest of the season is automatically placed on the IR. That's what happened to a guy I know who was injured in Seahawks camp last season. A couple weeks later he was activated even though he wasn't healthy yet and they cut the next day...
Couldn't you have said something less mortal, like um, 'Go stick your head in a toilet' or maybe 'Go read the collective works of Dean Koontz'? Don't get me wrong, blunt is good, but caveman blunt is not as effective as it's more evolved cousin.
SI-OW: Second-year NT Sione Pouha, expected to be a contributor in the defensive line rotation, will miss significant time with a knee injury that may require surgery, the Daily News has learned. Pouha, who reported to Jets camp in terrific shape, has been sidelined since Sunday. Mangini, adhering to his policy on injuries, has declined to give a prognosis
