to realize that we have probably the best well rounded fullback in the league right now? Its about time we used richardson, its ridiculous it takes 16 weeks to figure this out.
Why don't the Jets use any of their weapons? Clowney anyone? This team is run with a loser mentality.
They went deep to Clowney, would have been a TD. It was underthrown. Had he caught it, you would not have said this.
Disagreed. Using your weapons involves getting them consistently involved, not two plays a game. Same goes for Leon on the offense.
Clowney has not played in months. Only a few plays trying to get in synch with the offense. And Leon got touches today, not much happened.
You're looking at this in a very short sighted ways. The Jets on both sides of the ball run a very stubborn scheme that rarely allows the team to attack opposing defenses, do anything that consistently moves the chains, or puts the team in a position to win consistently.
I think that Tannenbaum has put talent on this roster we don't use it. Again this is another flaw with Mangini. Look at Clowney, Richardson, and Leon, these guys can make a difference on the field. I know everyone keeps saying that we need playmakers so much, but I think the truth is we have players that can make plays. Could we have better players on our roster? Of course! but its not like we're the team of 2006.
It looks like Favre's arm is about to fall off. The difference between his arm midseason and now is night and day.
its true you dont see much of a team emphasis. The jets dont utilize all 11 players on the field to their fullest potential like a great team does. There are too many things wrong with this team though, it boggles my mind.
Favre missed almost every open receiver downfield; how would it even matter if it was Clowney he was throwing to? It was clear by our second possession that Favre wasn't going to pull through for us. We should have just run the ball down their throat.
I can't believe we have gotten to the point where people will say the FB is not getting enough touches. Lets see, TJ needs more touches, Leon needs more touches, Richardson needs more touches, Keller needs more touches, Clowney needs more touches.....etc.
My overall point is that our coaches don't put our players in a position to succeed. The running game was working, the passing game was not. So what did they do? Pass. David Clowney can get separation when the other receivers aren't, and who do they play most of the game? Bubba Franks. The coaching sucks. This applies to both sides of the ball.
im talking in third and short situations or thrown in here or there. I wish I knew exactly how many touches richardson had before today. It must've been three at most.
