David Tyree?

I think even thinking about this is silly.

 

Buyer beware

 

I think the Giants receivers have proven nothing and this guy got cut from there team. He had his 5 minutes of fame.

 

54 receptions in 5 seasons.... 4 career touchdowns... injuries

no, thank you

 

The man is getting cut from a team who's receiving corps is equal to or less talented than the Jets... 'nuff said

 

He doesn't make last year's Giants team without the Super Bowl catch.

 

Hell and No.

 

He's not an upgrade over what we have... It wouldn't be worth it.

Tyree makes no sense for us. He's a great ST player but we have Smith and Wright who can play ST. We need somebody who can help us at WR and Tyree doesnt do that.

 

Bucky Dent; but I hate Biteball, so what am I talking.

 

Tyree is not a good receiver and would not help our team any more than the guys we already have.

 

I say we sign him and then Week 2 we get him to pose with some Patriots for some pictures. Then we let Sanchez and him try to re-create the catch a couple of times in the game. Then after the game, cut him. Oh yeah, make sure he is inactive Week 1 too.

 

This is the second time this offseason that this has been suggested.

It has sucked both times.

 

Let's put some thought into these threads and not just create one about every single WR that becomes available.

How would Tyree improve our team?

 

aaahhh. Common sense, where have you been?

 

He has made the pro bowl as a special teamer, so, if Ryan thinks we could use some help there. Besides that, he is nothing spectacular and not an improvement over the mediocre staff we have now.

 

One lucky ass catch and this dude is god ? I'll pass.
