    Culpepper situation

Having mentioned Culpepper, it?s worth noting that the Dolphins are increasingly optimistic about his chances to open the season as the starting quarterback. Culpepper recently received a strong evaluation from Dr. James Andrews, the renowned orthopedic surgeon who repaired the three torn ligaments in Culpepper?s right knee, coach Nick Saban said.

The Dolphins were close to turning down the trade for Harrington altogether recently because of Culpepper?s progress. Miami was almost willing to wait until Harrington was cut in June before making a move for him. The problem is that Harrington would have missed all of the Dolphins offseason program if they had waited, putting him way behind.
    ----------------------------

Sounds like he's well on his way to making it back in time to start the season. We'll see, but if this is any indication, looks like he'll be ready sooner than expected....

The same James Andrews that gave Pennington a clean bill of health, only for him to retear his rotator cuff? Good luck with him...

Now if only the Dr. can fix daunte's head and his penchant for mistajes then Miami will be in business.

The same James Andrews who worked on Willis McGahee. Same knee injury, same prognosis.

Hell no they don't. They don't even encourage their QBs to get injured as often as possible either.

Can Andrews stretch out Culpepper's small hands so he can stop fumbling left and right?

Ah, yes, the small hands thing. I know I've been there with that before on Mr. Culpepper, but I can't remember why or in what thread. It all gets lost in a gg haze....

We play the fish in the second week, so if culpepper is going to play hurt or healed the only diffrence will be if he throws 2 or 3 interceptions.

Did DC tear his ACL, MCL and PCL?

I heard, and may be wrong, that he tore 3 ligaments. If so, it is a long recovery.

Funny. I was thinking the exact same thing. Seems to Dr. Hanginglimb is the product of good marketing, because I've yet to see any medical miracles out of the guy. Right now, he's one of two reasons to ever visit Alabama, and I just don't get it.

With your secondary, we're going to be able to beat you with Harrington.

Lifetime UNDER .500 QB while his team is OVER .500 WITHOUT him. He makes mistakes at critical times and kills his tams chance to win.

So says the man whose big FA acquisition was Will Allen:lol: Our secondary is better than yours by the way.
