V. Game 1: Monday @ 7:10PM ESPN Randy Wells, RHP (1-0, 2.92) vs. Jon Niese, LHP (0-1, 6.55) Game 2: Tuesday @ 7:10PM Carlos Zambrano, RHP (1-1, 9.45) vs. Mike Pelfrey, RHP (2-0, 1.29) Game 3: Wednesday @ 7:10PM Carlos Silva, RHP (1-0, 0.69) vs. Oliver Perez, LHP (0-1, 3.75) Game 4: Thursday @ 7:10PM Tom Gorzelanny, LHP (0-1, 1.93) vs. Johan Santana, LHP (1-1, 3.00) I don't know why ESPN is making me watch the Mets lose two days in a row on ESPN. It's more embarrassing than usual. I'm hoping we can split the series, but this club looks tired 2 weeks into the season, and has looked it since the first game.
That's what I meant, after the first game they've looked like it's a fucking hassle to play. That's why I want some call ups this year if it's gonna be like this, get some guys in there who REALLY WANT to be there and look like it.
I was just breaking your shoes, man. You're right though, can they designate GM Jr. for assignment, too? F-Mart can't do what he does? Just start him in center and have Pagan as your 4th OFer. Nick Evans can't be on this team instead of Catalanto? I know Minaya's just trying to save his ass with the veterans instead of the kids.
You can edit your sig  I guess it took seeing him fail against Felipe Lopez to realize that he sucks
I wasn't gonna watch the game today, but Ike Davis has been called up, and will probably be starting tonight. http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/mlb/news/story?id=5113619 Those Mets keep suckering me into watching.
checklist call up ike cut jacobs check get beltran back cut drop gmj reyes castillo wright beltran bay davis francour barajas aint that bad
So where will Davis be batting tonight? 8th? Of course...he should be probably be batting 5th or 6th, but we know that wont happen.
Don't post in this but much but watch the mets as much as I can. How Manuel is still in a job is a complete joke, last thing any franchise should have is a dead man walking coach, the whole playing staff know he is on the way out so wheres the motivation ( aside from losing to get him fired!!) getting rid of that prick Jacobs is a step forward but Davis should have been there from day one as this franchise needs energizing big time! This has to be the last season of Minaya as this team needs to rebuild its farm system completely and he ain;t the man to even contribute to that! Rant over!!
so if Davis sticks and Beltran comes back Mid May we might actually be able to trot out a semi-respectable lineup..
RBI infield hit for Castillo for the game's first run. It's been over 32 innings since the last XB hit for the Mets, but not much scoring coming from the opponents either.
Woo ho! Six hopper infield single with two outs for Castillo makes it 1-0! Can Wright actually do something?
