Haha. There goes the last straw. Bur b4 I believe I need to see a link. Found something: Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter Former Jets CB Antonio Cromartie reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals, per ESPN source.
Good for Cromartie, hopefully he's healthy over in Arizona. Maybe he can visit the Phoenix Suns medical staff and have some sort of resurgence.
This kind of FO Homer nonsense is past ridiculous. You know who is worse than those 112 CB's? The ones who rode the bench and could not get ahead of them on the depth chart. Like... Walls, who apparently is now going to start, unless the Jet FO goes nuts and uses another high round draft pick on CB when there are so many needs on O and even at safety, meanwhile the FO sits on tons of money. I'm glad I don't have season tickets. That's the only silver lining here.
With Arians taking over there, they have become a first class organization. They would have made the playoffs last year in the AFC, and I highly doubt they would have signed Cro if they were not reasonably confident he will be more healthy than last year. Always liked Cro as a player, and to hear him expound on things. Best of luck, dude.
makes me sad. he wanted to be a jet. weird that we couldn't work out a contract. his wife tweeted (with his handle) disappointed.
ANTONIO CROMARTIE @CRO31 now It's amazing how you can be so loyal to someone and they can be so disloyal to you. But you live and you learn. Expand @CRO31: I learned today that it is possible to turn the other cheek when someone slaps you in the face..
He was a loyal Jet and played injured (man-man) all year. Can't some of u haters just wish him well in Arizona??
Exactly. Yet another player who actually wanted to be here who we show no interest in. Cro played through several injuries last year and didn't whine once. He was a gamer and stepped up big time when Revis tore his ACL. I wish him all the best.
At least he didn't murder them like many non-millionaire, non-athletes do every week. Cro has a lot of children and used his initial advance money to provide for them when he signed with the team. He's had no off-field issues and no drama during his time with the team. He was a leader and played well except for when he was hurt, which was most of last year. Not everyone can live life mistake-free. I thank God that my worst behavior isn't harped upon by people who were in no way harmed or affected by it.
