Now before anybody goes crazy just listen:

    -He's great at evaluating talent

    and

-He knows a lot about the Patriots

That's pretty much it but it's mostly for the talent evaluation, would he accept a position of anything lower than Head Coach?

    Why?

I always kind of liked Mangini, but he and Rex are very different styles of defense.

That evaluation of Gholston was spot on.

    um. no.
Gholston says point a is terrible.
Any NFL analyst knows a lot aobut the patriots, should we hire any of them too?

about evaluation of talent. Tannenbaum has been proven to be successful. from all accounts i've heard gholston is a mangini pick. that is on him. the rest, you know - the ones that actually worked out for us, came from Mike T.

Deathstroke, I love your threads. I think you create some of the better threads on this site. They are always hilarious and this one may very well end up funny as well.

That said, bringing back Mangini, on the retarded scale, 1 being 1 story ranch retarded and 10 being the leaning tower of Pisa retarded, deathstroke your thread is solidly on an Empire State Building retarded. Just saying...........

For this week, as an independent contractor to gameplan with Rex, I'm in. Otherwise I don't think that would work.

To be fair, Deathstroke did admit he was "really high" when he made at least one of his first threads.

I'm done with Mangini running his retarded 2-8 scheme. Don't you remember how brilliant it was to rush 2 guys and drop everybody else into coverage....no fucking thanks.

To be fair, I post on another board where pretty much it's everyone defending themselves and nonstop trolling 24/7, this is my first forum where everyone is "pulling in one direction" so to speak

We police bad mentalities here. We also ban anyone who tries to fuck this place up.

The questions are harmless, but I think you can find the answer within yourself.

Yea, fielding 10 players is a horrible defensive strategy.

    New England delenda est.

Exactly, the 2-8 totally forgets the fact that there are 11 players on the football field. Granted, we probably get more 12 men on the field penalties than anyone in the NFL, so maybe hiring Mangini to count to 11 would be good. Then again, if he's only playing with 10, maybe not.

yup...he only ran the 2-8 formation when we went with our 10 men sets.

maybe we could hire mangini to video tape the patriots defensive signals? just a thought, he does have experience.
