1- Where all 3 phases of the game come together with solid performances?
2- Where we start out strong and finish stronger?
3- Where our young studs become difference makers to help our playoff chances?
4- Where Mark gets cheered, the OL makes it 3 games without a sack, and the D shuts them down?
5- Where our known team weaknesses ( yes the ones we talk so much about) are overcomed by this teams desire to overachieve?
6- Where our playoff chances become brighter and we regain control of our own destiny?

My hearts says yes. I will not loose confidence in this team. Unlike years past, the new NYJ always fight to the end.
Good luck to each TGG member this weekend. At home or at the stadium may be united in victory. This game could be the barometer for the 2011 future. A strong performance might set the stage for a powerful finish and lift our hopes for success.
    Go Jets

I think your right, this is the game where all 3 phases will come together. KC is a bad team, they're beat up and it's a team the Jets should dominate. That being said if we don't play down to them I think we win going away. It's gonna be tough but we need no copies of Atlanta/Jacksonville games from 2 years ago. It's to the point where all these games are gonna be on Sanchez. If he plays up to his potential and doesn't turn it over we win easily. If we get the Baltimore or Denver Sanchez we'll be in for a very tough game. I see this game much like the two Buffalo and San Diego Games. We play a bit close in the 1st half hopefully making no mistakes but in the 2nd half we get plays from our defense and Mark gets hot and we win big.

I'll take a win. I don't care how it happens. All that matters is the W. Then on to next week when the game this Sunday won't mean a thing any more.

I'd sign up for this every week.

That seems to be the MO for the games we have "played well" in although I don't think this team has played 4 good quarters of football in one game this season. The offense plays Ok in the 1st half and the defense plays well enough to make it a close game at the half and then we come out in the 3rd quarter and look like the team we all expected them to be. For me the special teams has been the most disappointing but I think Westhoff has spent a lot of time on that this week to get it right.

The ST's will be fine. The fumbles are an anomaly, I'm confident that's not going to continue. The D is pretty solid. The O seems to be rounding into shape, the line play is much improved, and the first drive to answer the opening touchdown last week was a very encouraging sign. Maddeningly incosistent, but like with the 4th quarter comebacks, its almost like they know when they have to turn it on and produce.

That's because you only get 1 game per week on Military TV right? You could always stream it unless there is some type of restrictions on that or something.

Should be a good game. The Jets D should contain the Chefs and the OL will have a great opportunity to ground and pound. Hopefully Sanchez gets good protection and executes the game plan w/no turnovers.

Could this be the game the Jets beat up on a team without their starting quarterback and running back? :rofl2:

I won't be impressed with a win just win. (See the first Bills game and Jaguars game).

tom moore taking a more active role in the teams operations could prove to be a wise choice. seems to have done a good job tweaking schottys red zone performance (even though sanchez complimented cavanagh for gameplanning i believe, could have been a misquote) so hopefully the offense can pick up the pace a little bit and start to look like a playoff contender.

I'll settle for solid performances from the D and STs and points in the first three quarters so we don't need Sanchez to expand his 4th Q comeback performances.

Josh Baker being talked up as leading the charge with Powell getting playing time suggests to me that we'll be going ground heavy. Not too up on Baker's pass catching ability so maybe see an increased number of screens and circle routes if LT's going to be in. Either way that sort of look will set up a ton of play action, If this is the case some deeper balls ie 15-20 yarders rather than bombs could be on the money rather than the short slants to Holmes and Burress.

All speculation on my part of course

KC is so bad... we have the ability to win by at least 21 points.

Im calling Revis with 2 picks.

No...that's rediculous palkos not going to be slinging the ball anywhere.Try to run the ball and short passes. Palko knows he doesnt have the accuracy to throw revis' way cromartie has a better chance at a pick then revis.
