Not to jinx him or anything but from everything ive read Coples has been impressing consistently in camp. I have read that he has even stood up at olb in certain formations. Definitely too early to label him a succesful pick but im really excited for what he might be able to do for us on defense this season.

He's going to be a dominant pass rusher. The stories about him taking plays off last year were greatly exaggerated.

Having a first round pick hit the ground running, really making a huge contribution from the get go, is a huge plus. When was the last time the Jets had that? Revis?

If Coples keeps this up, I would have to upgrade my prospects for the season. We all should.

According to who? I ask because we all know Rex is going to say every player and coach on the roster is HOF bound.

Various jet beat writers, players themselves. Not talking about typical rex hyperbole.

I would say Wilkerson also. He was solid from the start. I was impressed with how he played last year, made me a fan.

I love hearing about Coples suceeding, I have tremendous hopes for him

However it would mean a lot more hearing it from beatwriters players professionals etc, rather than well just someone randomly on a forum saying "he's great"

Not knocking the thread, just saying update OP with some links quotes etc. Cuz it'd be pretty aweesome to hear

No people were scared shitless because Gholston had showed nothing as a rookie in camps he should have been dominating as a #6 overall pick. He didnt show improvement until rex got here and moved him to the DL, and even then it wasn't much...

Vlad showed raw power, and zero technique as a rookie, and had NO offseason last year until TC.

The hell are you talking about?

Did you not see the post where I said I was talking about what beat writers and other players have said? Bills fan, lol. You're a fan of one of the most pathetic franchises in recent history.

I did, but didn't see a link to any of those beat writers stories or quotes from other players. When I read through the Jets OTA/Minicamp blog all I saw was the Ryan quote. Hmm?

Based most of what i said on tweets from beat writers who have been attending the various camps. Look them up yourself, i dont care if someone who comes here purely to troll believes me or not.
