Two college hoops players (George Mason's Jai Lewis and Connecticut's Ed Nelson) as potential late-round NFL draft picks. Lewis is still very much a late-round consideration as a tight end or offensive lineman, but Nelson did not help his cause during an on-campus workout for NFL scouts late last week. Lewis was not nearly as agile or fast as expected, and his "stiff" position drills left scouts unexcited about his NFL future.

    (6'7 275 lbs) TE?
    Jai Lewis - http://gomason.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/lewis_jai00.html

    (6'7 266lbs) TE?
    Ed Nelson - http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profile.php?pyid=61479

Just found it to be interesting

It appears Lewis could have a future in the NFL, but not so much for Nelson.

jai lewis is a senior at my school, and he is an absolute beast. not very tall but he dominated in the post all year. he is very strong and quick, should be a good TE in the league

Lewis is too big, they say he weighs in at like 295. Even if he is fast, that would be one big daddy running down the field. People are talking of moving him to OL!

Jai Lewis is pretty quick for his size, I think he would be better at OL rather than TE or DE; it was a pleasure to watch him play bball this year, I will miss this guy.
