The HYPE has been much MUCH bigger than the results. We've heard nothing but how explosive, playmaker abilities...all this stuff they talk about has yet to even show up. He is ALWAYS covered....no separation. He has done nothing to show anything OTHER than him being a complimentary guy.... Wake me when he gets here
He’s out of position. This kid has the makings of being a stellar slot receiver and we keep forcing him outside. He’s quick and elusive and should be running out of the slot to open spots and using his quickness with the ball.
Something isn't right. In my Madden 22 franchise playthrough Moore develops into a superstar and goes on to win 4 superbowls with Wilson only missing the playoffs 2x in 10 years. Give him some time, there's still hope. /s
Elijah has been open quite a bit today. The main issue with the offense IMO is Flacco and LaFleur rn. Luckily, 1 of those issues will be resolved next week. Hopefully that helps with the other issue but we'll see next week.
Moore is fine. Flucco sucks. MW should have gotten a game for ZW comes back. …but we got lucky in Cleveland.
That 4th and 5 pass to Moore was one of the dumbest plays you’ll ever see. Had no chance of being completed. ZERO. How you don’t check that down when you see the coverage is a mystery to me.
Just like the majority if Jet picks, and FA signings, way overhyped, with the majority coming from the fanbase
My thoughts too. Honestly, I'm liking the players on O & D, but this CS is too rigid in their scheme-think. Three games... the D has been picked apart with few adjustments, other than a new cliche or 2 by Saleh. On O, there are flashes of creativity, but too often players are out of position, & generally, they just play slow. I wish they'd go speed-up/no huddle sometimes, to attack the D. Then we'd see Moore be able to use his skills... as well as other playmakers.
There's been no hype. Just the usual posters on here getting horny when he scores a 70-yard TD during training camp. I'm fairly sure I can get 5 yards of separation from LaMarcus Joyner using a wheelchair
Seems like LaFleur tried to out think himself a lot today. Add that to Flacco turning into a pumpkin again and you get the result we had today.
He needs to be used over the middle of the field. Crossing routes, intermediate digs, quick hitting slants. The Jets have shown next to no creativity on offense in the first 3 games.
I agree. As much damage Wilson has done in the slot, he has the ability to get contested catches on the outside. MLF needs to make that adjustment, put Moore in the slot more
Shades of last year where LaFleur started off with completely uninspiring playcalling. I don't get it.
