So whats really the difference?? Without an O-Line and a horrible defense no Qb can succed in these conditions! Just goes to show all the pennington haters it wasnt his fault.

You're right, Pennington is an all-Pro, let's get him in there and let him show Clemens how to throw an interception the right way.

We are playing the second best team in the league with a rookie QB, dont tell me you expected this game to be pretty. He is going to take his lumps and hopefully learn from them. At least we can chalk up some of Clemens mistakes to inexperience, Pennington's only excuse was the line.

Im not saying hes "all-pro", all im saying is he took too much blame and alot of fans threw him under the bus. Without an O-Line, running game, and defense, NO QB can win!

Clemens certainly ain't doing shit. I'm not saying Clemens isn't going to be good at some point, but Chad took a lot of heat for things and wrongfully so he was made the scapegoat for 2007. Clemens is way too quick with the decisions even when he's not under pressure.

Thats a fair enough statement, but the way Clemens has been playing today and with the way the Jets look, is there any difference between clemens and pennington. That was my point. As for penningtons only excuse being the O-Line. Thats one huge excuse!

the defense. Just like today the defense is playing tough but when the offense keeps giving the Cowboys the ball back there is only so much they can do.

Difference was the Defense showed up, Clemens did not have a good game last week. If if you think he did then you need to watch that game again.

When Clemens matures and gets an O-Line, he can be much better for the Jets then Pennington....at least he can keep the defense honest with his ability to stretch the field...

Bullshit. The difference is that we are playing a much tougher defense than we did last week. You're right, Clemens did not have a great game last week but if you think Pennington is still capable of pulling off the final regulation drive of that game last week, then you had your head under a wet blanket for the first half of the season.

Its not the same w/ Chad in there struggling and Clemens in there struggling. I blame Pennington for the Giants game, 1st Bills game. Chad is an average QB at best in his career. Take the 2002 season away from his career and he is basically a 1 pick to 1 td QB. Chad sucked against a buffalo defense w/ 7 reserves 2x, the eagles w/o sheppard and dawkins, and had 0 influence in the second half against the bengals

I think a lot of people just wanted to start looking into the future when they wanted Pennington out.

    I'll say this

I think people were so disgusted with Chad, that any QB with zip on their arms looked good in perspective. I'm probably one of those people.

The jury's still out on Clemens- QBs don't win in this league with a huge arm. They win with smart decision-making and we need to watch what KC shows for the rest of the season.

He threw that pick 6 as good as Chad ever did. Quit complaining.

The difference between CP and KC is that KC can get the hell out of the pocket when he need too.
Opposing Ds knew that in a 5-7 yard radius chad was meat

So basically hes running for his life just as chad was. And that makes him a better QB?
