www.miami.com "They play the Super Bowl here next year,'' Dolphins receiver Chris Chambers told the crowd at the Broward County Convention Center, ``and I'll be damned if we're not the ones playing in our own stadium.''
When everyone's undefeated, people say some crazy 'ish. Chambers is just making his own version of those silly "get your story straight" commercials.
I think the Phins have a lot better chance at contention than a lot of teams that will surely be ranked higher once those idiotic Power Rankings come out.
I could name some additional guys, who made some more of the "catches in traffic". additionally to your names: Reggie Wayne - Ashley Lelie - Randy Moss (even though he was injured all year long) I mean he dropped a lot.
Wanye is not better then Chambers.. Chambers is probally in the top 15 overall in the NFL at that position..
I'm not sold on them yet, I don't think they solved the QB problem with Culpepper. I don't think he is going to be right for a while, if ever...
Keep telling yourself that.... On the contrary, he's ahead of schedule, and he's saying he'll be ready on opening day. Why should I believe anything different... As for Miami hosting their own Super Bowl, Chambers is reaching just a tad. We're certainly a playoff team, but anything more is wishful thinking at this time. Maybe if we're looking strong half way through the season, I'll change my mind. Until then, I'm not chanting Super Bowl just yet....
I stopped using it. The members here convinced me to stow it.... I'm humble, but I'm not crazy. Making Super Bowl predictions in March is crazy...
I too was wonderning what happened to the Captain Obvious "Later" line. :breakdance: As for Miami, I think they seriously going to contend for the Super Bowl. I wouldn't say Chambers 'predicts' with that line, but he is confident and I for one think he should be.
Yea, Brooks Bollinger was 4 yards and 4 downs from taking them late last year. I have no wild ideas that we're a better team, but I'm not sold on the Dolphins. Saban is solid, though.
