Can somebody give me a clear and intelligent explanation on why you CANNOT buy a Chrebet jersey in present day society? I don't understand how there can be a constant OUT OF STOCK status at every major website that sells jersey's including the NY Jets team page. It is the year 2009, you can order a 6 tentacle vibrating dildo in neon pink from Malaysia in two seconds, but I can't get a stinkin shirt with some guy's name on it? Is there some kind of boycott I'm not aware of? Is there a ban on selling his jersey? Help
No revenue from it, no point to make. You can get a customized authentic from jetsshop and put Chrebet's name and number in.

Retired players are their own branch of the NFLPA and their jerseys cannot be printed anymore along with current players, they have their own contracts. That's why Reebok puts out sets of retired/retros every so often (for $125 EQT style), and why Mitchell & Ness only deals with retired players. When a player retires, so do his jerseys.
I still have one.. too small for me but my 8 year old will be wearing it this year at the games... i wear a mangold jersey..
