Was this chad's best game as a Jet? The only other game I could think of is the playoff game against the Colts. Today's performance I think was better because of all the long (over 20 yds) completions and the non existence of the running game. Chad is the man!

i agree....in a time when he had to prove to everyone that he was back, he came out fired up...nice to see the 2002 form of chad back under center!

No. It proved a lot of doubters wrong, but this was not his best game. One of his better games, though.

Yeah he was as good as he's ever been. If he can hold up and keep performing like this the Jets might actually have a shot at 10-6.

Let's not forget though that the Jets were playing a bad team on the road and a team that effectively has no QB at the moment. There are a dozen teams in the league that would have steamrollered the Titans without ever seeing this turn into a game at any point.

Yes it was clearly his best game. Its the first time I have ever seen him move around the pocket and show some actual rush awareness. He was not that good in 2002, he played soft defenses and had a ton of easy INT's dropped. Today was his most complete game. He was decisive and quick getting rid of the ball and he made good decisions. He did not try to do to much but played within himself. The Jets had no protection all day but Chad was able to blunt the rush with quick throws. He also made some nice audibles and reads at the line like the fade pattern he saw on third and one early in the game.

No. The Colt playoff game and the GB game just before that.

Point well taken but I disagree because against the colts they actually had a running game, while today it was non existent.

I said no, but only because he has done it in bigger games before, like the Packers, Colts, and Chargers games. But he was great today. Moved around in the pocket, made throws down the field, fit the ball in tight spots, and he did it without a running game. People like to call him a game manager, but today he put the team on his back and carried them.

His best game ever? Against one of the worst teams in the league? Why not?

Voted yes, I didn't think playoffs.

    If PO included, then NO.

Exactly the game I had in mind. That one and the one a week before against the Pack to get into the playoffs

Well said. He has never shown more poise in the pocket than today. He certainly looked like a lot more mature QB today than he ever has.

Chads most meaningful game. He had to come out and prove he was ready to play, and he still COULD play. and thats what he came out and did.

I'd have 2 say that 41-0 blowout of the Colts in the playoffs was by far his best game.
