I'm glad Lowery is back, hopefully Weatherford will be good to go.

When healthy, Strickland has been better than Lito. Motherfucker's never healthy tho. Hope Shaun Ellis will be good to go too, being listed questionable with two days to go isn't a good sign.

Not good news but not necessarily bad news. Lowery plays for Strickland and we lose probably 5 yards per punt if Weatherford's out, not as if Weatherford was a pro-bowl caliber punter anyway

He is way better in run support and blitzing. He is not nearly as good in pass coverage. They are using Strickland in a role they certainly do not want to use Revis and Lito, as one is too important and the other too brittle.

Im sure they can find some 16 year old girl who can punt a ball as far as weatherford.

Exactly. Though Strickland seems pretty brittle himself, which seemed to be part of the reason why he's been let go by a few teams.

When both Lito and Strickland are 100%, we have a damn good secondary. Unfortunately, that's rare.

True, I think when everyone is healthy the Jets record is pretty damn good. I do not think Strickland, make that most dimunitive CB's, have the body to bang around on the line. Hopefully, E. Smth or Ighebo (sp) can take Strickland's place, they are stouter for sure.

Doubtful, Revis was ill during the week too, it may be the flu.

What? On what planet has Strickland been better then Sheppard? That's not even close to being the case. So ridiculous.

have you been paying attention this season dude? lito sheppard should start carrying around his own yellow flag to save the refs from straining their elbows.

If there is a doubt Weatherford can't go, sign Trapasso and go with him. The last thing I want to see is Feely lining up to punt in an important situation because Weatherford tweaked his hammy jogging from the bench.

Cold, windy conditions warrant an experienced punter.

Yeah, nice try. Absolute BS. Sheppard has been awesome ever since he came back. Some of you wanted to not like the guy from game 1 and spread BS about his play but he's played real well the second half of the season, real well. Go listen to Mike Francesa on WFAN, who almost never compliments the Jets. He's absolutely raved about the guys play recently. And he's right. And don't answer this with some BS that somehow Francesa doesn't know football cause that would obviously be a lie. Sheppard has played really well this season for the most part. Not well, really well. Deal with it. Good for you Lito and keep it up !!!

Would be nice if Lito could hold on to any of the passes he has defended. Seems to get his hands on one per game but never can hang on for the INT.

That said, he also seems to get beaten for a good chunk of yardage each game. Like Jeckyll and Hyde.

Play it down the middle Lito huh?

He looked awseome last week. I bet he can tell you in detail how Collie's ass shimmied as he was running away from him with the ball in his hands.
