I don’t think we’re inept enough to let this go on for several weeks without military or homeland security intervention if they were foreign. Seems like some test runs for US government military drone activity. I’ve seen some in my area. They’re pretty friggain big.

Saw a spokesperson from the Pentagon last night (presser) who said it's not Iran, it's not our military, we have met with officials, we are investigating. Whatever is going on, it's weird.
So they didn't shoot down the drones because they didn't pose the immediate threat to our military installations that those 2 Chinese balloons did apparently.
I'm not saying that. It's probably Google Earth or some rich frat boys. The answer will be something very pedestrian. I would be freaked out just the same.
I wasn't attributing that to you, I should have made it more clear that was what I was understanding from the statement they released. There's no immediate threat to a military installation so they didn't shoot it down. But they shot the slow-moving balloon over Myrtle Beach down after it had already crossed the entire country. I guess it is more the source than the object. This is probably Amazon's new delivery service or something.
Whatever the government says, believe the opposite. The second they started acknowledging UFOs and stuff like that was the moment I knew they were responsible for all of it.
