Assuming Favre retires, and we get rid of some obvious dead wood, like Franks, Law, Barrett, etc, does anyone know how much $ will be available to sign FA's?
IMO, Woody's gonna spend like a drunkin sailor, to get this team back on track, fast. With the Giants most likely on thier way to another championship, and the lust for PSL sales, i think we are in for another off season spending spree.

No clue. And no one but Jets and league officials truly know the cap numbers... But I do remember hearing the cap is going up once again, and if we (please God) get rid of Favre and his $13 mill, Franks, Law, Barrett, and B. Thomas we should be able to bring in a couple of new players. Won't be like last offseason though.

The Giants arent winning it all this year mark my words. Plaxico was the entire passing game. They may beat Philly but thats about it. The running game will only take them so far.

Woody will still spend regardless of what the Giants do.

I disagree, I see the Giants winning the superbowl. I'd have to say I'm rooting for it because we will get some nice pickups if they do. Woody would get so worried we wont buy the PSLs that he will get all the best players available.
