The Star Ledger is the only daily covering the Jets that has offered anything remotely resembling balanced coverage of the team. The Post and The Daily News are just doing what they do best, which is to sell papers and get hits anyway they can.

Way ahead of you there. I LOVE the fact that we've closed the doors to the media and have them making up complete BS. This shows a lot of the non-Jets fans/media out there we're not totally at fault for the circus we were. It's got a lot to do with the hack beat writers drumming up lies trying to sale papers. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the demeanor of our organization really changed the moment Idzik was named GM. I just really hope this translates to the field. Either way it's a giant step in the right direction.
I've been boycotting that crap for the past 5+ years. They are terrible with sports, and even worse with politics. I see no reason to support them in any way shape or form.
Whenever I go back to visit my family and walk by a newstand, I am embarrassed to see that a city as rich and culturally diverse as NY, not to mention sports savvy, supports two of the worst rags ever created. The Post and the Daily News are so far removed from journalism as their writters from the Pulitzer price. They are indeed the genesis of the quote " not worth the paper its written on"
I don't read the NY Post anyways so that's no problem with me boycotting them. Also, the NYDN and NY Post are tabloids, thus I look at broadsheet newspapers such as the NY Times, WSJ, or Star Ledger since they aren't harsh on the Jets.
