just back from game... Leon, thats a killer, makes me sick. but this thread... man... i just gotta say how great it was to see our head coach pick up a gatorade jug and dump it over callhans head. lol. LOVE IT. Firstly, Callahan deserves it 100% with what this running game is doing... and secondly, I love what it shows this team. Man not only do these players want to get behind this big bitch and win... but the coaches do too. Great leader. I dig it. Now go figure out how to stop an Offense that runs 45% Wildcat.
I've been saying it since last season. Callahan should be the OC. He is a great offensive mind, and it's no coincidence that the run game/oline play has had huge improvements since he arrived. I remember he had the "running game coordinator" status on last year's coaching staff.
I'm sure his former boss Crazy Old Al saw the irony. Rex said in the post game comments it had to do with the stay in Oakland as the Superbowl HC and Rex's brother also worked there. A homecoming celebration.

Callahan is a helluva offensive line coach the way the line has been playing the last 2 weeks he deserved that.
