Ryan Tucker, starting RT and probably best runblocker is questionable with an unidenitifed illness. I just hope they don't pull one of those "we got the win by pulling together when all the chips were stacked against us" things.

I dont know what to say about the Browns. They are certainly not as bad as their record indicates.

With developing top tier talents at WR and TE, along with great 2nd and 3rd options at WR. They have a RB who has put up numbers in the past. Their QB is young but seemed to be coming along nicely prior to this season.

Id like to believe its coaching but who knows. Their D is actually not to shabby at all but Wimbley looks like he is still learning the LB game.

Ultimatley I think their problems of course lie with their dismal OL (a product of numerous injuries) and their retarded Offensive playcalling up until this point. With Carthon out now who knows.

The Jets are playing much better at the moment, while of course "Any given Sunday...." as long as your team is smart with the ball they will be fine. The only thing that would scare me is if the removal of Carthon gets their offense playing like its capable of. If Frye gets blocking he has numerous weapons at his disposal.

2 things...Arizona fired their OC and the offense got worse the following week.

Blocking help does not emerge over night.

ya, it's not like Davidson was sitting there going, damn it, if only Carthon would use all five linemen to block, instead of having the center do a jig, we might be able to block!

Just wondering if they picked up Derrick Strait yet? with Baxter out I thought they will still have interest in Strait.

Cleveland scares me. It seems like a traditional "trap game," where EVERYTHING is looking like it could go right for the Jets--being 5-3 at halfway point, heading into the bye week to a huge showdown with New England--and then it doesn't. I think this will be a closer game than we expect...

and being 500 at the half way point is still way better than most would have thought. If b/4 the season started, if someone said to you "are you OK with being 4/4 at the break", we all would have said HELL YEAH!!! That's awsome. So win our lose we are still doing very well this year.

You are correct to be afraid...the Jets are definitely catching the Browns a week late. But while the Jets of the past have booted games like this away I believe Mangini will find a way. Key is getting up earlier like last week and pulling away unlike every other week.

Arizona and Cleveland are two different teams. They may have some similarities but just ebcause it happens to one doesnt mean it will happen to the other.

In Clevelands case Carthons play calling was downright bizzarre. With his removal you will see a much more conservative/traditional type offense probably for the rest of the season (I doubt they install anything new).

Blocking doesnt emrge overnight, tyhats correct. However changes on the OL, different packages....etc can help.

Ultimatley I think the Jets win this game, but this is your prototypical "trap game".

Pass rush doesn't either, we are getting no pressure, this is why i get pissed when people raint and rave about how great Bryan Thomas is, in a 3-4 it's the OLB's job to get sacks, he has done shit.
