I'm not sad that the broncos loss put Herm and the chiefs in the playoffs. The broncos have been living off the hometown refs for years and it was sweet to watch them be eliminated at home. The jets in the playoffs and the Broncos, Bengals, and Jags out. Plus Miami hasn't been in the mix for years, has no QB, and their coach can't decide to stay or leave--I'm loving all of this.
In any other world, a head coach would lose his job for this debacle of a season. But this is Mike Shanahan we're talking about.
Mike Shanahan is still one of the top coaches in the NFL. He's probably been in Denver a bit too long now and needs a change of scenery though.
