How do umpires like Denkinger sleep at night knowing they cost a team a world series (1985)--now we have a field judge named "buddy" who overrules someone with a better angle that costs the jets a game. How long will MLB/NFL allow idiots like this to determine outcomes? The fans want to see a game decided by the players--not the umpires/field judges!
"Buddy" grew up in Ohio....now he COULD be a Bengals fan....he COULD be a Steelers fan...but judging by his call today, I'd say Buddy is a fan of the little brown turds.
I was at the Eagles game today and I made a comment to the person that I was with how the ref in a football game could ruin the day of more than 50,000 people. And after this happened I see that that is true.
