I never got past the first sentence. Apparently there's plenty of parody in sports journalism too, even though I'm sure this is one of those websites where any moron can post an article...

I don't believe it is a lock before they have played games. They need Mark's stock to rise so he will start on that mere fact alone

It's year 5. The stock has crashed. It may recover a bit but only in relation to where it was.

It's hard for Sanchez defenders to deal with this rationally but Ill give them a starting point that might help: Victor Hobson.

I looked at this cat's last name and knew this would be a waste of time... my judgment didn't exactly prove me wrong. i couldn't even push all the stupidity aside and read all of it... the first line sounds like an over expressing 13 year old trying to write poetry... fuck you mean parody ? you dumb fuck....
"And that of which is a parody, and that butt smuggling player of which goes by the name of Mark Sanchez will not start its a lock"

Sounds like he is inspired by Shakespeare but can't word the words correctly....
son sit down and let our wonderful beat writers cover it :) Mehta got our back..

I'll give you another. Alex Smith... except I believe he took 7 years before doing anything worthwhile. It's not too late, some QBs are late bloomers. I don't get the whole, "it's too late for Sanchez" arguments. It's never too late. He's got one last year to prove himself. Either he does or he doesn't. It's not like the Jets have done a stellar job developing him or surrounding him with talent. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and one last chance in a system he's semi familiar with.

    Sanchez is not Alex Smith,Barcs...
It might not work like that. Just because Smith caught on in year 7 doesn't mean Sanchez will catch on in year 5.. or year 6.. or any year, maybe he just DOESN'T catch on.
With these type of situations of "He did this or he caught on then" is irrelevant
to anyone else but the person your comparing Sanchez to.

Not saying Sanchez WON'T catch on because i don't know the future..
not for anything but Alex Smith had a hell of a team built up over there in San Fran. that's not the case over here.

what are you saying here? It's never too late yet he has one last year. That makes no sense at all.

Why do they need his stock to rise

No one wants Sanchez, like no one in the NFL would consider putting him under center

He adds nothing of value to any team

Even if he did get a little better and his stock rose slightly... look at it this way with the stamp the media put on him when he leaves NYJ he won;t look appeasing to ANY TEAM regardless of if he throws 35 TDs

I'm well aware that Sanchez is not Smith. I'm not saying Sanchez definitely will catch on, but it's certainly not too late, which is the point that I was trying to make. I just don't understand why people have already given up before even seeing Sanchez play a snap in the new system.

Huh? Yeah, I'm delusional because I acknowledge the POSSIBILITY that Sanchez could break out late. I know that's so ridiculous and unheard of to most Jets fans, but C'mon man!!!!

???? Nitpicking today, are we? Ok, let me make it clearer, since more than 1 person completely missed my point. This is Sanchez' LAST CHANCE ON THE JETS. If he fails, he becomes a backup on another team at best. Yes, that still means it isn't too late for him. He could still turn it around. I wasn't comparing Smith to Sanchez. I'm just saying some QBs break out late and it could happen. I didn't say it is definitely going to happen. Why are folks so upset with that idea? "Oh it's impossible, we've seen Sanchez, yada yada yada". I was arguing against that notion.

Irrelevant. I'm just acknowledging a possibility. Some folks are dead set that Sanchez is done and will never do anything again ever. I'm just arguing against that notion, because it's silly. In reality we don't really know, I just don't understand the defeatist attitude that so many fans have.

How is that irrelevant ? ... You argued we havent seen him in a new system and i said we could of said the same last offseason due to the fact he was in a NEW SYSTEM .
