I do believe there's a thread on this show. I couldn't find it, mi dispiace. Please merge. I don't follow it, but when I happen to catch it, good stuff. I know good acting when I see it. The chemo thing, personal resonance. Great thesp work by the main character. The best I've seen since Ian McShane in 'Deadwood'.
I've been meaning to start watching it (but only from the beginning). Haven't gotten around to it yet.
The episode where he blows up the meth trailer lab in the desert, and then wanders around in his underwear, I was sold.
Great fucking show - if you guys have Comcast, every episode from the first season is available On Demand.
The third episode of the 2nd season was tonight. Mad Men seems to get all the publicity on AMC but this is a better show IMO. Although I admit the dad from Malcom in the Middle as a drug dealer was a tough sell but he does a great job.
Haha, you're not kiddin'. The desert scene, that was just great, too. Since I started this, I have been making a point to watch it pretty faithfully, and back-watched older episodes to fill in the gaps. The writing is terrific, and Bryan Cranston, the guy who plays Walter, he just keeps getting better and better. It's such a subtle performance. Definitely DVD worthy.
My goodness, this show just keeps getting better and better. I'm on the edge of my seat the entire time. It's the only show I am watching right now.
Watched the whole thing , very very good. Wait until you see the scene where his sidekick tries to dissolve the body of a drug dealer in an acid bath. Laughed a plenty
By chance saw Battle of Britain for the 158th time (sarcasm) and there was young Mr McShane plying his trade. Ouch !!
If I say bromine and barium to myself in my head one more time while watching the credits, I'm going to shoot someone. I just can't help it.
lol, Glad it isn't just me doing that. I actually try and name em. I loved the periodic table and can't believe how much of It I forgot. Then again, Maybe it's cause I finally figured out how to use the chemicals
