Palmer is out this week. I doubt he will play next week. On top of that, their OL is just as atrocious as it was at AZ. Their OL don't make hole, don't hold up during pass. What's more, Fitzpatrick is averaging under 5 yards per attempt. What's worse is Chris Perry is averaging less than 3 yards a carry. Now, add to the fact that Bengals' front four couldn't generate much pressure by themselves. Cotchery and Coles will have a lot of 1 on 1 look (and Keller, if he's used too) Does this sound like a disaster for Bengal team? For now, I'd like to think so.
If Palmer is out, and after a bye, at home, we lose this game, we may has well write off the rest of the season--they don't come any easier.
I just want us all to agree that... 1) there is no way the Jets should lose this game, and 2) if they should lose, no one is allowed to come on here and make excuses about... a) the officials b) Ryan Fitzpatrick played way over his head c) the team was rusty coming out of the bye week d) Brett Favre threw a "killer" INT e) Lowery getting torched but it is okay he is a rookie f) the O-line just had a bad game g) Reggie Hodges leg h) the weather. Agreed?
I don't know, officiating has been horrible all year, Fitzpatrick has a reputation to step it up when least expected, the Jets might forget the playbook not playing this week, Favre is expected to throw killer interceptions, Lowery is a rookie, the o-line can be prone to bad games here and there, Reggie Hodges flat out sucks, and it is expected to rain next Sunday... But yeah, victoy! :smile:
Well, NFL preview had him not playing - that's where I got it. He claims he will start even at this moment. I hope he starts - Dallas has a ferocious pass rush, and at the rate bungles' OL is playing, Palmer won't be in one piece by the end of the game. End result is he can't play next week.
that's a little too ahrd core for me, but I appreciate the Jetcentric thinking. I agree that we SHOULDN'T lose that game, but winless teams can be desperate and pull shit out of their asses. I mean, they HAVE to win at some point.
