For some reason I get the idea that his teammates arent really in love with him. I have no doubts they respect his leadership & admire his fire to win. But lately he's been throwing these "hissy fits" on the field & I watch the other players on offense stand there & look at him like he's crazy.
You can bet your ass both teams will be playing this one like it's a playoff game. There's gonna be some pads popping in Foxboro next Monday night.
This will only be a good game if a man in a chicken suit tackles Tom Brady and makes a few ragged paths through Brady's hair with a Norelco as the teams are heading to the locker room at half time.
Ever since I came to this site, you would hear posters say things like "take it easy man...you never root for an injury to a player" Ok..Im in..except Brady. I can honestly say that if he were to go down, I would laugh. My oldest son, who is 14, and I have this thing that when an oppossing teams player goes down, we have a karma thing. We discuss how his parents must be upset and hope he gets well soon. We try to outdue each other with compliments to the player..and his family. Except Brady. My only regret about his knee injury is that it didnt come against the Jets.
How annoying is it that we are 9-2 and only 2 other teams in the entire league have that same record and 1 has to be in our friggin division. This is supposed to be our year, I can't wait until we take control of the division next Monday.
Was saying the same thing last night...incredible...truly incredible. Hey..to get rid of all the ghosts and all of the same ole Jets...it has to be this way. The only time you can truly appreciate how far we have come is when its over. Because come kick off Monday night, Im going to be sick to my friggin stomach.
Brady: "It's going to be a hell of a game and I'm shitting my panties" Just wanted to put the whole title in, to set the record straight.
It'll be one hell of a game and Brady still won't give credit to the Jets defense when they whip his girly ass. Recall what he said after the September 19th game: "We couldn't do anything in the second half," Brady said. "We didn't do anything on third down and couldn't gain anything on first or second down. We couldn't run it, we couldn't throw it. We just sucked. That's what it comes down to."
I'll be there in the endzone after my clambake, can't friggin wait, going to be a freakin "Hum-Dinger" baby !!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure it's going to be absolutely freezing, that's Tom Brady's weather man, Tommy likes it cold, real cold. He plays his best football in the bone-chilling temps. You guys are taking on a team right now that is peaking, if you take it from us on our home field, on a cold night in December at Gillette, then you know what, I will tip my hat, because you've truly earned it. It's going to take a major, monumental effort to take out the Pats that night at Gillette.
This is going to be one long week. Like, the time between the superbowl and preseason, long. I'm so nervous and excited, it's definitely going to be hell having to wait until next Monday.
Yup.....amazing how they just suddenly forgot how to play football. :rofl2: ...had nothing to do with the defense opposite them
Yeah..I wish the game was in Jersey...where the long range forecasts has a mostly sunny upper 80's forecast. Its Boston buddy...4 hour drive from here. Take it easy on the ice bowl you are predicting. Probably around 43 degree kick off....thats my guess. Just goofin with you.
rex used woodhead to model welker in practice, wonder who we'll use this time. speaking of welker, id give my right nut to see revis on welker this game
Considering that you guys didn't even make it a game at our home I'm very confident we can go up their and win. As you know we are undefeated on the road. Mark's QB rating is nearly 20 points higher on the road, on average throws for 60 more yards, has more TD's, and much less sacks. We have 5 more rushing TD's on the road, average 30 more yards per game, and have only lost 1 fumble. (On the ROAD) Receivers match the passing obviously, just to throw another ROAD stat out, we have more 20+ yard receiving plays. Higher return average on the ROAD, for both kicks and punts. We all know about Brady playing at home, but if that included the playoffs the 33-14 ass whooping put on you would only make that streak 5 games. This game will have a playoff atmosphere to it so i expect our D to come up big as well as the Sanchize.
