This gives me all the justification I need to start the "Official 'Are the Jets Officially a Dynasty Now?' Thread"

Good news: the Jets are trying to bring back Lamont Jordan.
Bad news: They want to put him back at quarterback.

I would play a little bit of Chad (2 series) and then Ramsey in the first half. I wouldn't start a rookie tonight.

I read in one of the rags today something that made me laugh. With all this Chad starting mystery going around wouldn't it be just like Mangini to not even play him tonight. Maybe start with Ramsey followed by Clemens and Bolly. I, for one, wouldn't be shocked. By now he should know what he has in Chad, while the others are still question marks....

If Chad didn't play tonight, so be it. I'd have no problem with that. Maybe it would be better to see what the other 3 can do, especially with Brick and Mangold debuting tonight. There may be a bigger risk of sacks.

Better News: The Jets are trying to bring Eric Crouch back to the NFL to start at QB.

Worse News: He is so badass that he doesn't want to wear a helmet on during the game.

Which players are you guys going to be looking for the most? Personally I hope Pennington gets more than just 1 series, I really want to see if he's "back" like the camp reports say he is. Also I'm hoping Clemens and the young wideouts (cotchery, smith) really burn the buc's second and third stringers.

Is this Eric Crouch or Craig McTavish? (That would be a hockey reference)

Maybe we can get Maurice Clarett too!

I obviously can't watch a pre-season game in the midwest and a bunch of my friends and I are going to watch Vertigo, the Hitchcock movie tonight. So I'll need some good details afterwards.

I will be watching Brick, Clemens, Houston, Pennington, and Shaun Ellis the most.

Here are the details. The starting offense played one series. Cotchery made a couple of catches, so most on this site can overrate him. And then they played a bunch of 4th stringers the rest of the game.

Man you should be a beat writer! And I'd throw in a long run by Cedric Houston and at least one INT by Ramsey

    My prediction:

Bolly gets the whole 2nd quarter and burns TB for 3 tds (1 to cotch 2 to smith) Then at halftime we trade bolly to TB for ellis Wymms and a soft drink. Bolly starts the 2nd half for TB and gets rocked throwing 3 ints for TD's. After the game Bolly chalks up the INts to a jersey color transition.

It's preseason so we are going to learn very little tonight. I just want to see the rookies doing something positive and go from there.

I won't be watching tonight because I don't live in NY, but I"ll be on NFL Network at 10am tomorrow to catch about the first 5 minutes of the game(the only part that I care about). I'll be watching the offensive line with particular attention to Brick. I just hope we can run/pass block better than last year because that was where we failed.
