Rex was 8-8 with a roster not half as good as ours. While his D might have been on par with ours, his offense wasn't nearly as good. And of course he beat us twice in head-to-head matchups, including this week in a game that meant everything for us and nothing for them (except revenge for Rex). His players played harder for him than ours did for Bowles. When he was here, he made the AFC championship game in back to back seasons with Mark Sanchez and a D not as talented as ours on paper. He only started losing when Idzik sabotaged him by gutting the roster.

Can anyone make a reasonable case that Bowles is better than Rex at this point, or that we are better off with Bowles as our coach? I doubt it.

Mods - can we get rid of this moron, already? He doesn't even bother responding to counterpoints that seem to invalidate his points . . . he just goes on to the next talking (trolling) point.

You're comparing a guy with 1 full year of head coaching experience to Rex Ryan. How would you make a reasonable case that one is better then the other?

Rex went (4-12) with the Jets last year. Bowles went (10-6) with the Jets this year.
The Bills went (9-7) without Rex last year. The Bills went (8-8) with him this year including 2 gift wrapped W's from the Jets.

Rex was 8-8 with a very talented roster. That Bills team has plenty of talent.

Bowles was 10-6 with a talented roster as well. He came up short in the final game of the season.

    I'll take Bowles over Rex.

For the love of God, just stop with the "I Love Rex" threads already or you will be designated a "troll" and dealt with accordingly. In short, stop trolling!!!

I'm not on the Bowles bandwagon just yet but it's time to move on from Rex. His time was done here. He's not the type of coach you can keep around for 10+ years. When he's winning he's lovable and tolerable but when he's losing it just becomes too much.
