I hate losing to those chowder faggots. That'd have been dope as fuck had the NYY came all the way back.... Pitching needs to get it the fuck together.
Hollow series. Even if the BoSox sweep it, they're still 3.5 behind in the wild card. Can't even play spoiler, save for a complete Yankee colapse.
Lester is perfect thru 4... EDIT: Beauty, I jinxed it. What a fuckin awful performance so far. This team has been has been playing it's worst baseball of the season this past 2 weeks.
I can't watch this stupid shit anymore. Adding insult to injury, I'm in the finals of my fantasy baseball league and buddy has Lester going. Fuck baseball today !@#$%%$
Why is Girardi using call-ups like Royce Ring and Sanchez when nothing has even been clinched? Step 1: Make it to the fuckin playoffs..........
I dont think Pathetic does this game justice, I just dont see how Girardi doesnt value momentum at all. He is the most frustrating manager to support
So which situation was worse for this team? 9th inning in game 4 of the '04 ALCS, 7th inning of the '08 ALCS, or right now? 99.99 percent chance that they don't pull an '07 Rockies but I'm just happy because before I checked espn this morning I thought they had been officially out of it for like the past week. If Youk, Pedroia, and Jacoby had been healthy all year they definitely could have had at least 5 more wins right now. Then this really would have been more interesting than sitting back and hoping to win the lottery.
Alio should be interested to know that Moseley is starting tonight. He also pitched out of the bullpen against TB on the 22nd. If Boston wins tonight, Tampa Bay should be in good shape for the division. They're completing a series against Seattle today and have an advantage there.
Well, they just announced the change. It was originally Hughes, then they said they're pushing him back because of the innings count, then they announced at around 3:15 that they're starting Hughes after all.
Ah yes, more Cashman magic...Hollywood couldn't write this shit any better. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they pull him in the playoffs because of pitch or inning count.
What are you blathering about? This isn't a Cashman decision (although I'm sure Girardi spoke with him about it). More likely is that they'll skip his last regular season start. I'm sure the Yanks were just hoping they could pick up one of those first two games, and have their magic number be one (or less). Since it's not, they probably just figured this was a better chance to take care of business, and start Hughes on regular rest. So there... now you have a new tune to sing: OMG PANIC MOVE!
