NJ.com article quotes Cedric Benson as saying he doesn't know who David Harris is? Hope Harris can play and introduce himself. Keep talking Bengals, and Ochocinquo now says they treated game as an exhibition.
I hope Harris is 100% and plays this saturday.....I'm sure Benson will get to know Harris's cleats up close and personal.
"Johnson" may be telling the truth about the game, but he also said he would put on a show. Though he's usually lying about that anyway.
benson is going to be so lucky if harris sits out... i wonder if he payed for the bounty that that other back got for gettign him.
Did anybody tell Benson that no one knew who he was before this year and he has been in the league for an eternity.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/01/05/cedric-benson-is-still-learning-about-the-jets/ Cedric Benson is still learning about the Jets Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on January 5, 2010 2:00 PM ET We'll start the post this way: We know this trash talk stuff is silly. We also know coaches love using perceived slights, and that DeSean Jackson's "We gonna sting they ass" outburst was the most trafficked post on the most trafficked day in PFT history. So this stuff gets attention, whether we like it or not. And a comment Tuesday by the Cedric Benson may get the attention of Rex Ryan in New York. Cedric Benson was asked about the impact of linebacker David Harris potentially missing Saturday's game: "I don't know how big of an impact he makes on that defense," Benson said. "I'm not a big names guy or who's playing. I don't even really know who that is." That says more about Benson than Harris, who is New York's leading tackler. Harris missed practice Tuesday and his status is uncertain because of an injury. Benson also said, "They're a good defense. They play good. I'm sure they'll find somebody to fill his spot just as good, just as capable of making that defense successful." But that part may get left out in the tabloids. And Ryan will have another talking point when he says his defense deserves more respect.
THOMAS JONES>Cedric Benson. I feel that way, the Bears feel that way, and the country will feel that way after Saturday.
this is an interesting sub plot to the game i hadn't realized until you said that...this is a great point and I wonder if each players has a little added motivation over this
I bet you Thomas sure does. He got cut (edit:traded) because they were going full time with Benson. How much you wanna bet TJ runs for a buck fifty on Saturday?
