Rookie right tackle Andre Smith has broken his foot during practice, only two days after he ended his holdout with the Cincinnati Bengals. He will be sidelined at least a few weeks. The first-round draft pick sustained a small fracture in his left foot during a noncontact drill Tuesday, his third workout with the team. Coach Marvin Lewis said the injury won't require surgery. Smith was the sixth overall pick, and the Bengals expected him to start at right tackle. His contract impasse forced him to miss the first three preseason games and cost him the chance to win a starting job in training camp. He agreed to a four-year deal Sunday. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/12143143

Karma for whom? This doesn't affect him. He just signed a contract with $21 million guaranteed. This hurts the team that drafted him, waited out his unreasonable demands, and then finally signed him. Sucks for the Bengals.
I don't know if karma is the word I'd use, but I certainly don't feel bad for the Bengals. Cincy loves to ignore popular opinion in regard to player character. They did so once again when they drafted Smith, a slouch with a poor work ethic. Poor conditioning leads to injuries.
Those man tits can put a large amount of force when coming down on your feet. I wonder if one of his moobs actually hit his foot and broke it?
Apparently he showed up to training camp at 367. If you see the clips of him on ESPN he's in absolutely pathetic shape. The guy even needed a clause in his contract to keep him under 350, that's just sad. How a team would draft this guy over Eugene Monroe I have no idea.
