I know...right? Way to start with a bang with the ole first thread! (It's not as bad as it sounds...promise...hear me out) This is a reverse psychology ploy they use in the Military (I'm a USMC vet) in bootcamp to shake things up a bit and make guys more accountable to each other. So I'm prefacing this by saying this suggestion isn't because I think Mark played poorly vs. the Pack....but more to give him time to reflect over his body of work over the past 3 games....and more so to send a wakeup call to the rest of the team What could we hope to accomplish by this? A) Send a message to the Wideouts. Mark didnt play poorly last week, and they know it...get them focused, make them mad, and most of all let them know that no one on the team is above riding the pine if they don't keep their shit together....make them feel guilty and accountable... B) Diagnostics: Get a full game of tape of someone at QB other than MS in our system. Let him watch from the sidelines at how Brunnell handles certain situations it might prove as a useful tool to help identify why Mark is struggling in certain areas. C) Get Brunell some mid-season in game snaps...we never know when/if he might be needed later on. D) Test Sanchez mettle.... see how he handles it...will he pout, or will it ignite a fire under him? Especially considering that an awful lot of what's wrong with the offense isn't his fault? Can he handle it like a man and a team player? Thoughts?
I didn't even bother reading your post.....this thread is a waste of bandwidth. We're 5-2.....get your head out of your ass.
