Revis was 1 on 1 with Pryor, who is a really talented guy. Not many CB's will be able to hold their own against him. Not to defend Revis too much, but he should have been given help. The Coaching staff just refuses to do anything that makes common sense.
The first half against the Browns was probably his worst half of football ever!! Makes me sad. He was so far off his receiver that he was never able to breakup a pass. Secondary is definitely not playing well, but some of that is attributed to lack of pressure on the quarterback. Too much time for the opposing qb to make all his reads.
He isn't playing like revis of old regardless of pass rush. He's soft as fuck now and blows in coverage. There's no point in having him on the field if he's not going to press receivers.
The problem is that they do give him help, but our safeties are not any good. Pryor is Kerry Rhodes part deux, he is only good at the line of scrimmage, he can't defend the pass, terrible angles, doesn't anticipate, always behind the receiver.
