I'm sure everyone caught the handshake at the end of the game. Is he out of his mind? Tell him to knock the chip off his shoulder. It wasn't enough that he took 1 million dollars from the Jets to stay on under Parcells with the agreement to then take over and then renege on it. At least Parcells maintains a strong relationship with the Jets, hence the trades the teams have made. I realize the Jets are in the same division, but Belichick is a freakin joke. All mad at Mangini for accepting a head coaching job in New York. A=hole.
Top two Belichick moments of the game: 1. Patriots burn a timeout after Brad Smith gets under center on the punt. He's gotta hate that. 2. Belichick pulling at his collar after the FG gets blocked. With a little more experience this team might be giving him ulcers for years to come.
I'm sure Belichick believes that this hostility is just being a "tough football guy." I've never understood why being a good coach has to mean being a jerk, but he's hardly the only coach to feel that way. As I noted in the game thread, it is obvious that all of the stories about this during the week were not media hyperbole - Belichick clearly despises Mangini for daring to take the Jets job against his wishes.
Belichick was basically walking away as he put out his hand, and from what I could see, never looked at Mangini.
Bellichik is a real jerk, trying to draw the jets offsides for a first down when a field goal would of sealed it. And it was great to see the look on his face when the jets started coming back n then after the blocked kick.
Really? Looked like they exchanged words to me. Either way, I really don't care much. Hopefully Mangini does get under his skin, any distraction is a good one.
I'm not one of the conspiracy makers, but there is no way that you can tell me that Mangini was looked right in the eye by BB. But in the end, whoooo careeeeees.

Belichick is just mad he couldn't hand the job to Mangini when he decides to leave New England. Instead, he has to watch Mangini walk all over New England for years to come.

No it wasnt equal..thats nonsense...mangini had a little grin on his face and put his hand out..and mangini got back exactly what he expected...the cold fish handshake. Hey...I really could give two craps...but bb is a jerkoff..a very successful one. Trying to spin it and say it was two guys that didnt look at each other and just shook hands and ran off...Mangini knew exactly what he was going to get from bb...just like when bb built up the whole herm edwards talking down about the patriots (which he never did) and bb gave him the cold shoulder too. bb is a nut job...and I wouldnt mind if he was my coach.
