Like most Jets fans, I too am annoyed that the Giants are playing well and that they will undoubtedly win their division...considering this was finally the year for New York to be all about the Jets for a change. That being said, we may now begin to consider the possibility of a Jets Vs. Giants Superbowl (since the NFC is a joke and probably stands for Not Fucking Competitive.)

I know Jets fans would love nothing more than to defeat the Giants for the championship and that Giants fans would love nothing more than to raise the Lombardi trophy in Cowboys Stadium...so what do you guys think? Possible? Probable? No chance in hell due to a late run by the Detroit Lions?

Its definately possible. I think it would recquire both teams to get either the 1 or 2 seeds. Then they would both only have to win 2 games to get to the Super Bowl.

Also what would happen if we both hosted the Championship Game? they both are on a Sunday....

Lastly I couldn't imagine if it did happen, the two weeks leading up to it would probably be the most craziest 2 weeks NY has ever seen.

Not happening. While the NFC as a whole suck, the Giants are overachieving. I still think Atlanta is better and if NO gets their shit together they are better too. Lets see how the season plays out.

Nobody...nobody wants a Jets-Giants superbowl...not if you are a Jets fan. After waiting more than 40 years, 80% of the hype in this area would go to the Giants and you would barely even know the Jets were in it.

I don't care who we play I just want to see a SB at some point in my life. I'll worry about this 2 months from now(hopefully), right now I want to get to 6-1 for only the 4th time in our history.

Seriously, this shit happens all the time...When the Jets are playing well, we get stupid talk about Super Bowls.

We are in week fucking 7...Come out in February 2011 to talk about the damn super bowl with this franchise if they end up in one.

The funny thing is if we lose this week we'll hear how we are overrated, how we have been exposed, how we have no shot to win a SB. The fans and media sway from week to week.

Like it or not we're going to see threads, articles and discussions like this so long as the Jets & Giants keep winning.

Three weeks ago I told my brother (a Giants fan) that the Giants would win the NFC East. This morning I ammended that to remove the word East.

This possibility is very real, and I actually would love to see it. Jerry Jones' head would explode if it was an all-New York Super Bowl in his stadium.

Are we headed for fifty threads about a "Subway Superbowl?"

Just had to amend the title.

I once thought like you, until I realized not trying to "jinx" things only keeps you from enjoying the good times. Fuck that. I am going to enjoy this ride and talk about making the Superbowl until get there or get eliminated.

We are not even at the end of the second quarter of the season. Lets all calm ourselves down.

I might as well start the discussion of Mark Sanchez being a Hall of Fame QB based on his recent performances.

No Jet/Giant Superbowl talk, I remember hearing this after we knocked off the Titans in '08, and so started the nose dive in a cold rainy day at the meadowlands against the Broncos.

I agree that it's too early, but that doesn't mean we aren't going to hear it. You might as well get used to it.
