https://nypost.com/2021/11/16/why-jets-are-nfls-worst-team/ What do you guys think... Are they the worst team? Queue up the excuses boyz. Hopefully we'll get some new ones now...
The worst team at what? At winning? No. The Jets are better than the Lions at winning. (2>0) At not losing ugly? Probably. The Jets have more ugly losses than the Lions.
Yes, the article acknowledged that "technically," the Jets won more, and then didn't mention it again. Personally, the moment a journalist talks about winning as a mere technicality, I stop reading. This is sports. Winning matters. Participation trophies are not relevant for professional athletes.
I would send that statement to Saleh 1st class mail special delivery. There's a few guys around here that think participation is more important that results and if you have enough faith, the magic eventually will happen. 52 years and counting..
Give the guy a season for the love of Pete. The defense is decimated and already had a lack of talent. The offense is coming around, the Bills have made a lot of offenses look bad this season. If we get blown out by the Dolphins and Texans then I will listen to you guys.
Whether we’re the actual worst or not is somewhat irrelevant. We’re one of the worst. As bad as the Lions have been in terms of losses, they’ve had a chance to win or tie 5/9 of their games on the last possession. I think that speaks to the coaching staff doing their jobs and having those boys fighting because their roster is atrocious and I’d argue much worse than ours.
The jets really suck do they suck more then the lions and texans? Does it matter? If you will loose to the texans you we have you answer
Are the Jets the worst team in the NFL? 11/21 vs. Miami Dolphins 11/28 at Houston Texans We will find out soon enough * 12/19 at Miami and 12/26 vs Jacksonville
Top 5 crap team, worst defense I have seen in a while. Lack of talent shows and the big time talent is invisible
Every team that’s beaten us sans the Falcons had realistic playoff expectations this year. we have 5 “easy” games this year, unfortunately so far we’re 0-1. IMO the Jets are good… compared to other Jets teams… compared to other teams this year, not so much.
Carolina had realistic playoff expectations? We're not just losing to these teams, we're getting our doors blown off and not even competitive most of the time. I have to say we're looking worse than the Adam Gase team last year.
Watched Detroit V the Steelers, (it was pretty entertaining in a rainstorm) after turning to Red Zone to try and find a game worth watching Sunday, I'd say the Lions at least play with some fire.
This. At best we're one of the 3 worst teams in the NFL. Why does it matter if we're the absolute worst or not? And for the record I think there's a strong case we're the absolute worst team. We have the worst point differential in the league.
problem is when you only have 2 or 3 players to worry about you can gameplan around them. our LBers and safeties need a huge overhaul and we need another edge rusher or 2. With lawson and huff back next year plus JFM and we can draft one with our 1st pick we should be ok there having 4 rushers we can keep fresh. right now we only have 1 in JFM and teams can easily double him and Q as nobody else on our line can rush the passer really. and they constantly exploit the LBers and safeties in the run and screen game
the steelers did everything in their power to give the game away and the lions just couldn't do anything with it. goff is awful. they should have won. that was the worst i've seen the steelers play in like a decade
Carolina lost 8 games last year by 3 points or less. They are only a QB away and they expected Sam to be that guy…. Aka yes
