i do and i am beginning to get nervous about it. on one hand we have a definite edge against the steelers in the return/coverage game but have ZERO confidence in folk - especially outdoors, 25 degrees, and windy. throw in the rule change and i hope we don't get screwed. on the road in the playoffs u need to add 10 yards to the FGA from the regular season. thats just how it is. added pressure, weather conditions, road crowd - all these things create a much more difficult env for a kicker in january. So for any sense of comfort u need to get to the opps 20 yard line. this is one of the reasons the jets may be active on 4th down come sunday, especially in the area of the steelers 30-35 yard line. dang - its only wed and the mind is already playing games. jil
Remember the character in "A Bronx Tale" that was known for having no luck at all, so when the mobsters found out he put money on the same race horse they put money on, they ripped up their tickets before the race even finished knowing they had no chance. That is how I will feel if Nick Folk lines up for a game-winning field goal attempt on Sunday.
Ding, ding, ding. probably have nitemares from now until sunday. u folks may joke about this but when folk lines up sunday with a shot to win or tie the game late in the 4th quarter/OT - tell me your gonna keep ur shorts clean?? no chance.
I'm having a hard time not getting overconfident about this game. The Jets are better across the board, and if you look at Pitts last 6 games, except gift turnovers by Baltimore in both games, they haven't beaten anyone.
HAHA Eddie Mush! "If it wasn't for bad luck I would have no luck at all" I Agree man, Folk scares the shit out of me. He sucks and i hope we dont need him to nail a big FG sunday.
