I have no problem with Al Michaels. Collinsworth sucks donkey dick. He sucks for all teams, not just the Jets.
He is defiantly the worst commentator in the game. Bring back Madden for some good (yet nonsensical calls) .
Collinsworth especially He kept making excuses for the dolphins & you could tell he got mad when Allen let BE make that big 3rd down catch laste in the game
I love how they refused to mention that the Jets were missing their best defensive player. I remember at one point Collinsworth read a stat that the Jets defense hadn't allowed 100 yds. receiving to any WR in the entire 2009 season but had already given up 100 yards to Marshall in the 3rd qtr. How do you mention a stat like that without mentioning the Jets were missing their shutdown corner???

This must be why I've always hated him as a commentator. Collinsworth has a way of making me want to punch him in the mouth every game. Michales is good, but needs a John MAdden type of explosive personality next to him. He and Collinsworth are not a good fit at all.
I think they were just upset that they only got one Marc Anthony/Jennifer Lopez mention in. Because you know if Miami ties the game at the end or leads at any point during the 4th they cut to them every other play dancing around like they know what's going on in the game.

I'm glad others noticed how ridiculous this was. Michaels made some ridiculous comment in the first quarter saying that we played a "horrible game" week 1 and then redeemed ourselves week 2. We lost by one point to a team picked by many to win the Superbowl, sure it wasn't pretty, but I wouldn't call it a "horrible" game. From then on I was calling for their heads, shortly followed by the refs and his mandatory 20 minute Official Reviews.
Titusville is several hours from Miami. I betcha Titusville is Bucs country. Also, I bet Collinsworth likes the Bengals more than any other team. I don't know if there is a reason why he'd maybe dislike the Jets more than the Dolphins.
I have a lot of family in Tampa and St pete and a lot of that area is Phins country still. Finding Bucs fans in Flordia is have to do outside of Tampa itself. The Phins have a longer/stronger history and the fan base to show for it.

Collinsworth > Madden which isn't saying much. I'll take him solely for the refreshing like of hyperbole on every play that seems to be common with other color commentators like Madden, Jaws and Gruden. I still love listening to Michaels, his subtle humor is hilarious. The Leon Lett joke at the end of the first half was amazing.
