And Raiders fans are tired of it. Apparently.

What's the point of hiring a GM when Al Davis will tell him which prospects to pick up in the Draft, or what FA to go after in the off-season.

What he needs to do is be completely removed and hand over complete control about talent to the new GM AND Coaching staff to make football decisions. Davis can hire 10 GM's, but as long as he's still heavily involved, nothing will change.

I, for one...love Al Davis......and I hope he never leaves his position with the Raiders.

    It's excellent comedy.

I applaud them. Of course it won't change his behavior, but it gets a point across whether he wants to hear it or not. Anyone remember the small plane flying around Giants Stadium during a Giants game in the late 70's with a banner that said something like "13 years of lousy football and we're not going to take it anymore"?

John Herrera already issued a "no comment". I was hoping for something funnier than that...

Here's a question, though: All around the country, small businesses are suffering under the slow flow of credit. Yet, for some strange reason, three transvestite Raiders fans were able to climb out of mom's basement, borrow her Oldsmobile, drive down to the Money Store kiosk, and tie down a line of credit to put up an Al Davis billboard. Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot?!

It is funny, but also makes the Patriots better because New England feeds off of the Raiders. It is a Win-Lose

any Oakland fan dumb enough to welcome Al Davis and his team back after he slapped them in the face and left not only deserve him but have no grounds to complain about anything.

Specifically next year! I'm really rooting for the Raiders to have an outstanding 2010 to lower the draft pick NE gets for Seymor in 2011. The way it looks now, though, beli-shit will have a top 5 pick in 2011 (likely with a rookie salary cap to boot).

    here's my problems with this:
1)al wouldn't be able to read that if it was put up in his office, and none of his flunkies have the balls to tell him about it.you know al shoots the messenger.
2)a couple of raider fans were able to get a line of credit for this and now are relying on other raider fans to donate?sorry boys, you gonna eat all $5500.got know your crowd dudes.

I agree, this is the equivalent of the media broadcasts that the nation is under the worst economic despair since the great depression with unemployment at an all time high, yet on black friday, the reports were that the single most purchased item for the start of the Christmas season was ....."flat screen T.V."......families are starving and we as a nation are out buying Flat Screen T.V's..........:eek:hmy:

There's no point of hiring a GM. Davis controls EVERYTHING. He even forces them to run plays he wants, it's not going to change until he's gone.

Davis probably shit himself when he saw that billboard. Then again, he probably shit himself before he saw the billboard, too.
