I'm loving this kid more and more every day. I can't wait to actually see him work with our offense though.

A Jets quarterback with a big arm? I don't know if my heart can stand the excitement.

LOL, a virtual lock based off of one performance at a minicamp. I could be wrong, but I believe we are jumping the gun on this one. Would be nice to see him in a pre-season game or some of training camp before we make a decision that important.

I think if the kid has to start games this year we are looking at a another high draft pick. The o-line and RBs had better step it up. But it is way to early to call him the opening day starter.

I love Schein. He is the best one at WFAN. Too bad he is almost never on.

I'd be very happy if he is the real deal. But its crazy to say anything about '07 this far in advance. A LOT can happen until then.

That being said, I'd rather he start than Chad this year.

what if Pennington leads us to the Super Bowl this season, is Clemens still a lock then?

Yeah - and what about if Tom Brady sits out and refuses to play for anyone other than the Jets - what then? Is Clemens still a lock then?

He could always get injured and not be able to start in Week 1 next year. I do feel he is virtual lock to start in Week 3 of 2007, however.

I loved the pick, and Tannenbaum also picking up another 2nd, was well...genius.

I can't wait to see the preseason and see how he performs live. I would love to see a tape of him with Oregon cause haven't really had the chance to see him play live.

That being said, I love hearing the Kendall comments, however, with this new regime, that might be the only thing that we hear about Clemens from players or coaches.

the point isn't what could happen between now and then. it is holding all things constant, considering his ability and where he is now and where he would/should be next year, he should be our starting QB next year.
