Pacman Jones was reinstated today by National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell, making him eligible to play in the Dallas Cowboys' regular- season opener in Cleveland.

The league in June allowed Jones, a cornerback and kick returner who was suspended last season after multiple arrests, to practice with the Cowboys and play in pre-season games. Today's full reinstatement was confirmed by NFL spokesman Greg Aiello.

What a disgrace. I NEVER root for injuries but this guy deserves it. I hope he somehow collides w/ Leonard Little and they both have career ending injuries.

I love how he's dropping the "Pacman" name because it has negative connotations. It has that because of him, it's nobody else's fault.

He'll be gone soon. It's almost inevitable.

As painful as it is to say...I think he's going to do well in Dallas.

Eventually he'll screw up again, but it won't be anytime soon.

Little got slap on the wrists...

Pacman got the biggest ban in NFL history...He served his time. I think this is right.

Shefter also reported that if Pacman gets in trouble one more time, he could be banned from the league.

    Sounds fair to me.

I like to believe it. But I don't know, year or two down the road he could do something stupid and it would surprise none of us.

he should have been banned for life already as Leonard Little should have been banned for life but tagliabue didn't care about the players off the field.

This is the same guy who has been in trouble time after time from coleg to the rpos, he met w/ Goodell after going to a strip club the night before, he found out he was reinstated at a hooters, he started a fight w/ Denver. There is no doubt he'll get in trouble again. it may not be this year but there's a better shot of that happening than Dallas winning the SB this year.

LOL ever been to a hooters? It is no big deal at all, just women in shorts and t-shirts serving way way over rated food. We used to go to a specific hooters for some Brazillian waitress's, my god were they insanely, otherworldly hot.

Back on topic................ They should have reinstated him when the bouncer at the Vegas strip club walks again or when he pays him his salary from the suspended season and have him build him a handicap friendly house and all his medical care for the rest of his life. Whichever comes first.

That is my biggest issue. I do not care about going to strip clubs and having fun as that is what they are designed. It is a entire other ballgame to go there with ghetto thugs and shoot the place up and paralyze innocent people. Then after all that, not realize the stupidity and still continually go there with same said thugs until all your options and livelihood are gone.

I am not going to predict the future or wish anything bad on the guy, just saying.

I understand hooters is a regualr restaurant but the man has been in trouble for going to strip clubs, it's a little funny he was at a hooters when he got word. if he hasn't been back to strip clubs lately he will be soon.

Most NORMAL people can go to strip clubs or hooters but this guy was part of a group that paralyzed a man then before he was to meet w/ Goodell he spent the night in another strip club. That tells us he deson't take things seriously. he will be in trouble again, it's only a matter of time.

I've heard they have a lot of good ones.

My stomach hurts when I drive past a Hooters.
