Tom Moore, O-Coord of the Colts. I am just wondering why he is never considered for any vacant Head Coaching positions? Is he too old? Not interested in being a HC?
Hes succesful because of Peyton Manning you or I could probably get the same results in Indy. I mistakenly wrote Eli. So shoot me the douches came out in full force.
Peyton Manning is basically their OC from what I've read. Did you see Peyton calling plays in week 17 after he was pulled from the game? I thought that was pretty cool.
I could see that, but how do you know for sure? So Moore doesn't call the plays, devise game plans? He's just an old man they picked up off the street to pose as a football coach?
I sometimes do wonder just what the hell the guy does. Especially when Peyton calls more than half of his plays at the line. And then I wonder what the hell DUNGY does when Peyton waves off the punt team and stays on the field for fourth down.
I've heard Moore advises Peyton on the formations that may work against certain defenses.... thats kinda it.
Moore was calling plays and teaching players for title winning teams long before Peyton was around. The only downside is he has no head coaching experience, and is 70. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Moore_(football_coach)
Tom Moore = Maytag Repairman And he knows it too. Moore and Sorgi have the best paying jobs in the land.
I'm sure this has been said 50 times over already but Peyton Manning calls the plays from the line. Being the OC of the Colts = Mr. Irrelevant
from wiki Moore resumed his college coaching career at the University of Dayton, where he coached offensive backs and received a graduate degree in guidance counseling. When he left Dayton in 1968, Moore went on to coach offense for nine years at Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, and at WFL's New York Stars. Moore made the transition to the majors in 1977 when he joined Chuck Noll's coaching staff at the Pittsburgh Steelers, initially serving as receivers coach. Within three years on the Steelers, Moore earned two Super Bowl rings and in 1983 he was promoted to quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator. For eight years, Moore and Tony Dungy, the Colts' head coach since 2002, were colleagues on Noll's coaching staff at Pittsburgh. Leaving the Steelers in 1990, Moore served in senior offensive coaching roles for three teams in eight years, having the most success as offensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions, the team which led the NFL in total offense in 1995 and was the first team in NFL history to have two receivers with over 100 catches in a season (Herman Moore and Brett Perriman). yeah i would say he did a little bit before peyton manning. 30 years or so worth and a whole bunch of winning teams and championships.
They really let you have it didn't they? Was it really necessary guys? It was obviously a simple mistake.
